La Catrina 'street Tacos Tequila '

Love this place! Best tacos in town. They're street style with cilantro and onions, served with a verde sauce a tomato sauce for dipping. I love the grilled fish or grilled shrimp on a flour tortilla they also have corn), but I like all the tacos yes I've tried them all). Best salsa in town too! I can't handle a bunch of spice, but this has just enough all the flavor. Has daily drink specials Palomas, which are great! Fantastic service great people! A weekly must have!

Service was terrible, and the food was not good. There were 7 people in our party, and no one was served their meal at the same time. We waited over an hour before the first meal arrived, and then when the orders started to trickle in, they were incorrect, had to be remade, items were left off the plate. It took three different staff members to sort it all out. It was a total disaster.

One of my favorite restaurants in Troy! I usually do pickup and they always have my order right. Great food and service the people that work there are so sweet! Highly recommend the chimichurro and the mojitos!

Refreshing menu. Most impressive was a side dish of black beans. I'm okay with black beans but I usually am board with them. These were DEEEElicious. Fish tacos were okay. Sauces were the high point though. Margarita tasted like sugarwater. I couldn't taste the tequila and could barely taste the lime. I did taste the sugar. And the bartender told me the frozen margaritas are not as good. I appreciated the skinny margarita (their best) but I'm not a fan of orange juice in their mix. It's a fun place in a modern atmosphere, but it is not mousey and it's easy to have a conversation. Trendy is the word for it. I'll go back. I want to try their chili rellenos.
