Prelaten Kro Og Scene - Tromsoe

Small and dry portions (ordered a steak that can’t have been more than 200gr, even though the menu said 300gr), and it was overcooked beef. Serving vine in plastic glasses is too cheap!

I ate the quorn burger, my husband enjoyed the reindeer burger. I think my quorn might have been a tiny bit over cooked but I still enjoyed the meal as a whole and the chips were very tasty, I couldn't finish them all! Staff were very helpful and happy to speak English which we appreciated. We ate an early-ish dinner here so it wasn't very busy at all, we had our pick the of tables. It got busier as we left and they played a good mix of background music (depending on what you like). The toilets were nice.

Arrived late afternoon in Tromso and look forw somewher to eat found the Prelaten which looked good and advertised the best Reindeer burger in Tromso. Seemed a nice place and it looked like they have bands and small concerts there. There was a private party that night but this did not affest us. After having a beer first we went to order the recomended burger only to be told that it was sold out. Selttled for a standard buger which was still very nice. Be aware that everthing in Tromso (Norway) is expensive.

Fish and chips, reindeer burger, shuffle board, friendly staff, old-world atmosphere because it’s a place with a history. Great.

Quirky downstairs bar (in a rather deserted Tromso). Reindeer burger was delicious and good value. Beers were over-priced, hence I settled for the free coffee.
