Taverna Gardenia - Trikala

We really enjoyed this cute family-run taverna. Great service and fun atmosphere. Centrally located and easy to find. We’ve been in Greece a couple of weeks and these were the best giant beans and mountain greens I’ve had! Salads are very good, too. Add some fresh fruit for dessert and you’re set! Highly recommend! For those who stay in Kastraki, theres no need to go to Kalambaka to eat well. The dishes are very big, the place so nice, the waiters very friendly and the food tastes very good! I totaly recomend. The dessert is for free, fruit. Updated from previous review on 2019-08-24

They various vegan options. Served fast and tasted good. The prices are a bit high for Greece but still okay. Caution with the cake they serve for dessert. It’s not vegan.
