Bidra med feedbackI was there with my family and I had a fun evening with good food and good music. I ate a delicious tartare that I recommend to everyone. I also thank Asia who served us because her smile is really contagious.
We had gulash with mash potatoes and wine and drinks and desert. and we saw an incredible piano trio. the place is awesome!
Very local feel in this family run bistrot. Excellent filet mignon with a side of sauteed spinach. Huge portions. Get the homemade potato chips, super thin and crispy. Great selection of gourmet sandwiches that are very creative. Outside garden available, but it was raining when we went. This is the kind of place that I will return to because it's low key, local, and super fresh quality food. The owners are extremely accommodating. Price to value ratio is unbeatable.
We are more than happy about our dinner in Dai Dai! The place was so cosy and welcoming, staff really friendly and the food was excellent. Handmade and local food and ingredients, a lot of delicious sea food on the menu. If you want to experience a local restaurant in Trieste, this is the place to visit!
...it learns how to manage a couple of things. The positive aspects are the welcoming atmosphere, the wonderful music, the cosy seats, the friendly staff not something to be taken for granted in a city such as Trieste, the quality of food. I disliked the fact the we were not given a price list and our bill, 110 euros for 4 people when we had only starters, one first course and two desserts was frankly the most expensive I have ever paid for a place of this range. As I said, good quality of food, especially the home made past with blueberries. A bit less the gnocchi with artichokes: too bland, no contrast, but still good. Small portions, maybe too small, we kinda left hungry. And the wine was not on the level of the food, probably the worst tasted this year. It has potential though, and there is certainly good will from the part of the staff and owners.
