Bidra med feedbackAfter an expensive and delightful experience a Osteria Da Gigi we went to this basic spaghetti house. The contrast was clear but the outside tables were attractive, the menu clear and the food wholesome. On the second visit were shared a plate of pasta and a Greek salad which suited our needs better than a full large portion pasta each.
This is always been a low budget huge portions restaurant. You 'll eat here only pasta because nothing else will fit after (unless you 're a bottomless pit... in that case go for the tris and be my guest! ;D The pasta is cooked as it should be, i never had to complain. It 's industrial pasta, so not expect 'hand made ' quality but the portions are generous: yesterday I had my lunch here and I 've forgot to dinner. From spring to autumn they have outside seats that I find lovely. I wish that people from all around could take a taste of this institution of Servola. It 's difficult to park right in front: so you 'll have to walk a little but the place is nice and if you want to eat like italians do at home, here 's your shot!
I lived in Trieste many years ago and I still drool thinking about the pasta here. We make a pilgrimage whenever we go back to visit. Large portions and incredible flavors. A bit off the beaten tourist path and I don't think I could find it myself without the help of local friends. Speaks volumes that it is still here and going strong after 25 years!
La città storica di Trieste, è stato qualche anno che non siamo andati e siamo stati subito a nostro agio. il ristorante è sempre rimasto in linea con i menu e i prezzi, ma è un peccato che non hanno più gusto tris. si mangia molto bene, si lascia sazi e si paga la destra. prenotazione consigliata.
