Scabar - TRIESTE

One of the many delicious bites at Ristorante Scabar right in front of Trieste. We were lucky to spend the whole afternoon with the owner of the place that served us personally with the freshest seasonal ingredients he had, and four different wine courses that fit perfectly to them. Every bite of this gastronomic feast was a pleasure that only matched by the refined perfection of carefully selected drinks. I still want to cry tears of joy, to think about the experience! Needs to say we went with 2 precious bottles of wine.

What an absolute joy! Genuine and beautiful service, delicious food can only recommend! Well worth the ride from Slovenia: my favorite: Hummer Pasta!

Perfect for our dinner with friends. We have noted that the owner (I think it was him) declares all Meniu for us in English. Deserts were just amazing. Olive oil itself and Proseco were very appreciated.

A hidden jewel. Delicious food, but the best must be the wine selection. You have a hard time finding a wine list that is so long in Europe.

My husband and I had a fabulous meal here. The owner of the place makes delicious olive oil and has a great wine selection. We sat on the outdoor patio which had a lovely atmosphere. Every course we ordered was delicious and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
