Lovely waitress who advised that menu was only in German and that she would assist with translating. Ordered beers and recognised something we knew. Man at the table next to us recommended local drink. Food arrived, fantastic German fare. Local apple drink Viez, a bit like cider but not sweet, was lovely. hot summer evening on the Moselle river. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and visited this restaurant because of the good location right in front of the river. Directly next to the restaurant there was a lot of noise due to a construction. The noise stoped at 8 pm. We waited 45 min. for our food. There where people that arrived after us and received their food earlier. By the time when they finished their food, ours arrived. I complained and the waitress said to me that I ordered baked fish and that’d be a reason of the delay. My boyfriend ordered Schnitzel which arrived on our table after my backed fish... any explanation for that? Nope! The backed fish were so dry that I could not find much to eat from them. Some other guests that came in to have dinner were advised that the kitchen was overloaded with work and there was only one cook. If we were advised before about that, we’d have left. The presentation of the food looked like: ok, let’s put some green leaves on the plate to make it look full” very very bad. The white wine was DELICIOUS! We ordered the bill, which took another 10-20 minutes so I complained again. The bill came finally and we paid almost 50€ for bad food and bad service. Not even an apologize from the waitress, not even a complimentary water due to the bad experience and long waiting time. Never again!

Solid, delicious german food with an impressive view on River Mosel. Service is sympathic. Unfortunatly cheap plastic tables and chairs on the outside. Prices are moderate. ship station directly ib front of the location.

Skulle lige prøve stedet, der var nogle som var positiv og negativ, kom til stedet, ventede Ca. 15 min hvorefter vi fik drikkevarer, bestilte kartoffel rosti med laks og salat, smagte rigtig godt manglede brød på bordet mens man venter på maden, det ville pynte på ventetiden.

Wir mussten fast eine Stunde auf unser essen warten. Bestellt haben wir um 10 vor sechs am Tisch war es um kurz vor sieben. Die Stimmung der Kinder entsprechend im Keller.Mein Salat triefte vor (Fertig)Soße, die Schnitzel schienen auch eher Fertigware zu sein. Aber die Pommes waren gut. Preis Leistung eher teuer.
