Larry's - Trenton

Very nice owner and family. All homemade foods. I had a delicious potato soup and cornbread with one side of fried okra and chocolate cake to drink with tea. The food was fantastic. My husband had fried pork talloin that was delish, one side of the sweet potato casrole, corn, rolls and I am sweet tea. He cleaned his plate naturally and helped me eat half of my cake. Pretty big piece. It was years since my Hubby had eaten there, my first time. He said it was like a golden coral, but the owner said that since Covid met, they had clear partitions up and they fixed your plate for you as your walk through. The restaurant was closed to a seating area, as the Kovid business slows down. It's a mother and pop business so remember your local businesses called by local people!! I had photos, but I think they were accidentally deleted.

I’m 35 years old and have been going to this place since I was like 2! This is mine and my husband’s all time favorite place ever!! Everything you eat is will be the best you’ve ever had. The price might be a little high but it’s worth it with the quality of the food. If anyone asked me where I want to go eat.. this is the place!! Chicken tenders are perfect! Best chicken and dumplings I’ve had anywhere.. I could go on and on about it. Larry and his wife work hard to keep this place so good. It’s also extremely clean!!

I don't usually like buffets, but I was in the area and searching for a highly rated place to eat. I'm glad I went here! The service was really friendly. It was really clean, and they have a sanitizing station they request you use before you go up to the buffet,which is really great/helpful. The food seemed mostly home cooked (really good), with a large variety. I'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone else looking for southern home cooked food in the area.

If Georgia is on your mind I recommend Larry's Buffet. The most delicious southern, down home cooking you'll ever eat. To add to this, the cleanest restaurant I've ever eaten in. As a restaurant manager for over 20 years, I must say, WOW!! Amazing. I felt right at home. I also loved relaxing on the covered porch with the beautiful mountain rocks, lush gardens and mountain view. As I enjoyed my visit and dinner so much I was there close to 4 hours. Excited about having dinner again at Larry's. The staff was so attentive and kind.

We searched google for a good place to eat on a road trip, we where not disappointed. The food was all hot and fresh at 4pm on a Saturday. The hole catfish where good, the chicken was also good. Staff was friendly and showed us 1st timers around. Would recommend and if I'm ever hungry and in the neighborhood I will stop by.
