Bidra med feedbackToday, my husband and I decided to have lunch at The Riverbrake Cafe. Honestly, for only $30 plus tip, this place was a great deal. I ordered the sweet potato soup and the crab salad panini, while my husband got the turkey sandwich. Everything was delicious and satisfying. We plan on returning to try their breakfast soon! The view from the cafe was also a fantastic added bonus.
My party visited this restaurant in Trenton on a Tuesday and had to wait for a table, even though it's not a very big town. The wait was worth it, though. We ordered the Montreal smoked meat and a Reuben sandwich made like a panini, both of which were absolutely delicious and melted in our mouths. The service was fast and friendly, and they also offer plenty of takeout options. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch, so make sure to go early. We definitely plan on returning in the future. Cheers.
I arrived too late for a sit-down dinner as the restaurant closes at 8:30, so I opted for takeout instead. The menu had a mix of dishes with Filipino influence, reflecting the chef's heritage. His wife, who is from Newfoundland, was also very friendly and we had a pleasant chat while waiting for my food. The dishes I tried, particularly the lumpia and salmon bruschetta, were delicious. However, I learned that nachos and condiments don't travel well. The restaurant offers a nice view of the river and I would love to visit again in the future.
Their hours have changed! They are now open weekends from 11-8:30 Absolutely delicious food and impeccable service! The owners, Rauole and Connie make sure your dining experience is unforgettable. They have many servers and kitchen staff but Cody, Jenifer, Genver and Julia have never let us down. Please support this local business. I promise you will not be disappointed!!!
Stopped in for a quick lunch for our first visit to this place and we were not disappointed! Delicious food, great portions, fair prices and friendly and prompt service! Plus a beautiful view. What more could you ask for in a cafe! Will def be back. Just need to add a sliced pickle to the side of their sandwiches :
