La Rocchetta - Tremosine

Not only the food, especially the host, Martha, is absolutely lovely. We will definately come back and enjoy the food (perfect pasta), the homemade drinks and warmhearted conversations. Thank you for this special night!!!

The little township is quaint and wonderfull you park when entering the village, then walk up a few cobbled roads and there it is, with a great view of Monte Baldo, too. The staff is friendly, the food good. The pork filet was delicious. The regional skewer dish with polenta not so much... But they deal well with complaints. Worth a detour!

We noticed that around Lake Garda and Tremosine in particular that English speakers aren't made welcome. This was really noted in this restaurant. It was a partner to our agriturismo and was only 100m walk away so we visited on our first evening. Reasonable food and service so we thought we would book a nice outside table with a lake view for Saturday night. The manager noted my name and exact table in her diary but when we arrived on Saturday we were given a table behind two gate posts! The manager didn't (or pretended not to) understand English and was very short and curt with us, shrugged and left us to it. This was compounded by staff mysteriously disappearing after clearing our main course dishes. No offer of dessert or coffee and then I had to go and ask for the bill! Very unusual for an Italian restaurant. Anyway, I couldn't honestly recommend this restaurant after our experience and I think the owner/manager needs to get some advice on customer service. There is more than German clients out there with spending power!

Una piccola sosta per fare assolutamente un luogo elegante e pulito e un'esperienza di sapori tradizionali con piatti ricchi e abbondanti. una vera esplosione di gusto accompagnata dall'accoglienza quasi come se fossi a casa tornerò sicuramente.
