Im Am Stiftstor - Treis

During our holiday in Treis Karden have eaten more often in the hotel's restaurant. It was close to our apartment, we had to walk just a few steps. During the first visit we were greeted and immediately received the cards: a menu and a wine card. We kept the wine map at the table all the time, so we could choose the different wines we want to taste. Various open wines were offered. The white wines came from card, rosé and red wines from Ahr. The same was true for bottle wines. There was a selection of spirits that were burned in the place. The prices were moderate as expected in a wine place. We tried some of the wine map and were done every time. German cuisine was offered at dinner. Soups, appetizers, salads, meat and fish dishes. We tried various dishes, the food was always delicious. In particular, I found the ceremonial secret delicious. It was included pork fillet, more will not be betrayed. Prices were rather average, appropriate for bids The ambience was worth seeing. A beautiful wine room with wrought iron vines, wine sprouts and colorful glass windows, really inviting. Only the lighting we found something too bright. In beautiful weather you can sit on the terrace in front of the entrance, in a small, quiet street. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We can't judge the rooms because we haven't lived here. We liked to eat here during our holiday and can recommend a visit to the restaurant.
