We rented a two bed cabin and it's pretty basic. there's no air condition in the bed rooms just one central one in the living room which can be quite hot during the summer months. It gets ok later into the night when it gets cold. it's lovely when you wake up in the morning as the cows or horses are grazing right outside the cabin.. lovely view! the horse ride trail was absolutely the best and great food was served at the in house restaurant. it's 30 minute drive to the nearest town if you need anything urgently so its pretty convenient. kids loved the animal feeding and milking of cow. we missed the boomerang class but went for the butter making class which was great! Lovely staff. Beautiful scenery and atmosphere. Spacious camping sites with plenty of options to find your own spot. Heaps of amenities in various areas that are kept clean and maintained. Farm animal experience was engaging and provided a learning experience for children and adults alike. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Just spent nearly 2 weeks at glorious 500 acre Bestbrook Farmstay in a self rented caravan at a powered site. This is our 5th stay there and the grandkids just keep wanting to come back. They thoroughly enjoyed feeding the farm animals twice a day, making damper, the horse riding, trekking to the gnome cave, learning how to crack a whip and throw a boomerang. The pool and playground provided daily entertainment as did the slushies, Devonshire teas and icecreams available at the homestead. The bar and menu never disappoint and the friendly, informative staff went above and beyond to make us all feel welcome and part of it all at Bestbrook Farmstay.
