Nags Head Inn - Tredegar

Nice little pub, nice food and the price is OK. Staff welcoming and friendly.

Stay in the nags head for a night and what a wonderful place. the beds were very comfortable and the room had all the facilities they could need. the pub was very traditional, absolutely amazing. claire and brand were the perfect hosts and made us a delicious breakfast for our departure.

Unfortunately, our meal took quite a long time to arrive. The choice of meats was somewhat limited to beef, pork, and chicken. However, the desserts were delightful! Two of us opted for the After Eight cheesecakes with a pouring sauce, while the others enjoyed chocolate fudge cake—one with pouring cream and the other with ice cream. We did have to wait a bit for the bill, but the staff were otherwise very pleasant. The restaurant was quite popular, nearly full when we left. I should note that in the room we were seated in, the flashing lights from a nearby display bothered two diners who requested to move to another area. I'm not sure if there was a way to turn the lights off. I returned on February 27, 2022, for another Sunday dinner and found the same excellent value for money, with friendly service that was top-notch. The beer complemented the meal nicely, and this time the flashing lights were turned off. I've also included more photos of the food.
