Antica Trattoria Di Statto - TRAVO

I had dinner in this restaurant with my colleagues at work, but I had heard about it. Great appetizers served with light fried dumpling and not greased a mention goes to the cooked shoulder of Capitelli still difficult to find in restaurants. First tris with mention for pumpkin tortelli. Seconds I ate a great cut but according to the other commensali also the wild boar was very good. Sweets very well presented and excellent on the palate. Good choice of wines with an excellent selection of local ones Fast service and friendly account appropriate to dinner.

Enjoyed this restaurant lots. The food is very traditional for the region, lots of locals which is always a good sign. The staff were friendly and the meal was good value!

Over 50 of us had a reunion here and we were served a feast!! Each course was better than the previous one!! Everything was delicious!! Highly recommend this quaint place!! Some of the yummiest food we had in Italy!! It was also priced amazingly for what we got! Enjoy the view as well!!

We were staying in a house in Rivalta provided by a close relative and often drove through Statto, the childhood home of my grandfather, with its picturesque Castello di Statto and the Chiesa di Statto. This day we decided to have dinner at Antica Trattoria di Statto, a small family-owned restaurant that we would pass on our way from Rivalta to Rivergaro. Antica Trattoria di Statto is a very nice restaurant that serves simple piacentino food and excellent local wine. We each had a plate of tortelli that was accompanied by a half-carafe of local red wine, plain bread and a small salad. The food was good and of ample quantity. The restaurant interior was semi-rustic but had tables with linen tablecloths. All-in-all, the atmosphere was quite pleasant. We will definitely dine there again when we are in the area.

I must admit that I can't give a better assessment because it was a bit disappointing (for our personal geese) grated onion soup. Maybe we expected something different and this has a negative judgment. all the rest great, from meat to cultivation. definitely to try again.
