Folgarelli's - Traverse City

A cool market with lots of pastas, sauces, and wines! Will have to try their sandwiches.

Folgarelli's is an excellent special market with deli sandwiches that are absolutely wonderful. I think this is the best sandwiches in Michigan, perhaps even the world. This special market has many imported foods and a large selection of wines. Olives, pastas and many other dry and canned products are available to name just a few. But the real star of the show here is the Deli. An amazing selection of cheese from all over the world, as well as a wide selection of Deli meat. Italian specialties such as Salami and Capicola, and American standards such as roast beef and turkey are all here. You can buy meat and cheese at the pound and make your own sandwich, but the smart move is here, Folgarellis make you one. The sandwiches are excellent, on a variety of fresh bread with ingenious meat and cheese. The homemade accents are gourmet and delightful the Pesto Mayo and sun-dried tomatoes are two of my favorites, and the homemade Italian dressing is great. Create your own sandwich to order or choose from one of about 40 handmade combinations. And don't forget the dessert homemade cookies and cannoli. Seriously, when it comes to Deli Sandwiches, Folgarelli's king. An option in beautiful Traverse City cannot be missed.

The kind of sandwiches that linger in your thoughts for days. The deli meats, cheeses, prepared salads, baked goods, and chocolates are simply outstanding! The staff is incredibly friendly, and you can easily place a call-ahead order to skip the line. Do yourself a favor and order two—you’ll be glad you did!

This is my favorite sandwich spot in Northern Michigan. The sandwiches are delicious, and there’s a wide variety of specialty foods to choose from. The wine selection on the back is also excellent. You can either take your sandwich to go or enjoy it at the restaurant. The cheese selection is outstanding!

Amazing sandwiches! I was introduced to Folgarellis at work, so I took my family for dinner before the Christmas parade. The staff was very nice and there were inside seats to eat there. We went with the Godfather Sandwiches. Would definitely check this place as they have all sorts of things. Also a bag of coffee beans and a chocolate
