Alleys Market - Traverse City

I love the pizza here, and it's so great to have a little market in downtown. Everyone should taste his pizza at least once - especially as you can take a slice at lunchtime!

If I was about to die, be it by death sentence or terminal illness, an Alley's pepperoni pizza would be my one and only choice for a final meal. If I was told the bite would kill me, I would still gladly take it. I have moved away from TC and miss this sacred establishment dearly. If I am ever nearby TC in the future I will make the voyage to this holy place. If you claim to enjoy pizza yet have not put this in your body, do so with caution. Know that you will be forever changed. All that you loved before will exist henceforth in the eclipsing shadow of Alley's greatness. Thank you for reading my tale. I have tried over 20 different pizza's in and around Traverse City to include chain restaurants and local pizzerias and very few of them are above par. Those few good places include Pleasanton bakery , The Filling Station of TC and Blue Water Bistro and Pizzeria in Rapid City. Alley's has a fantastic Detroit Style pizza, it is not your traditional pizza and it is loaded with flavor. If you need a change in the pizza scenery around town, this is the place to try. Many people like Jets 8 corner pizza, this pizza is a similar concept, except with fresh, quality ingredients. It has become my go to place for Pizza in Traverse City. The market also offers a small but simple selection of higher quality products as well as a selection of craft beer. They have 4-5 seats on the inside in case you need to sit and chat for a few minutes. They have cold brew and kombucha in their coolers along with things you would need for a small gathering or a BBQ. They do offer free water which is always a nice amenity to any business. They do not have rest rooms available for the public to use.

The pizza was absolutely amazing with good quality ingredients!! Skip the bigger restaurants on the main streets you won’t be disappointed. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had
