Hare Field - TRAVELERS REST

Seriously good food. I'm here a few times and never disappointed. I had lunch this time and it was fantastic. One of the best Brisket sandwiches I had in the Upstate! TONS of taste, amazingly moist and HUGE! I ate the other half later. Everything was hot, the pommes were ahhh-mazing (not too salty) and service was great. Every detail here is thought of the way they bring coffee in the way they bring you additional ingredients or drink. Pretty sure I'll be back, I still have a few things on their menu that I have in mind . .

The food had great taste. They used many local ingredients including bread from local bakeries such as the Swamp Rabbit market. I had the Blackened Fish Tacos without the tortillas together with a rabbit sausage. The pumpkin cobbler was AWESOME. Will definitely be back.

Spontaneously stopped and not disappointed. Everything we ordered was delicious. Look forward to coming back and trying some of the other offers.

While Hare and Field has many choices, I love my burgers, especially ones that aren't your typical fare. H&F did not disappoint! I had their delicious Smash Burger with onions and fancy cheese and even got a fried egg on top(upon request). It had a lot of flavor and the flavors blended well. Not overly spiced, but just enough to taste a bit better than most. The rosemary and sea salt fries were perfectly seasoned and not over the top, but were just right to accompany the darn good burger. To top it all off, the old fashioned was made well with the right mix of bitters and classy bourbon. Overall, a great experience with the help of our Server Steven!
