Tamarind - Tralee

Myself and my partner had a last minute decision to dine out last night and we decided for the first time since they have been open the dine out in the Tamarind, and to say we were happy would be a slight understatement We were greeted with such a friendly service and atmosphere, the staff are so friendly and attentive, down to Chef who came to our table and others who were dining in and greeted us and asked if everything was OK and had a friendly converstation, whilst filing our waters and looking after us, aswell as the lovely waitress who was attending us. 5 service The food was beautiful, we had a mixed platter for starters, I would highly recommend the ribs, they were done to protection the meat just fell right off the bone. For the main we had Crispy shredded chicken with satay sauce egg fried rice, and pork belly with egg fried rice with chips all were Fab. When leaving we were having a brief chat with the chef about family etc. and she disappeared for a brief moment and came back with a bag of lolly pops and prawn crackers for my kids for when we got home, as they weren't even with us at the time. She is so thoughtful and deserves aswel with her staff, a 5 review as a way of saying thanks for your service and we will be returning.

The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the ambience was nice. I didn't appreciate yellowish rice and MSG stir-fry.

Visited this restaurant early September. Warm welcome spotlessly clean. Wide choice of dishes from which to choose. Prompt efficient service in a relaxed atmosphere. Food cooked to order served piping hot. Excellent portions of delicious selection of dishes . Excellent value for money would definitely visit again when next in Tralee. Good parking very close to restaurant. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Visited this restaurant with my friends. We briefly mentioned that we were celebrating one of my friend's birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised when the staff gave us dessert on the house, with a candle lit for the birthday girl. We really appreciated this kind gesture from the restaurant. I had the beef rendang which was amazing, and my friends ordered the green curry and duck cantonese. The food was delicious, and the staff were also friendly and helpful when one of my other friends enquired about gluten free food and vegan options. Highly recommend, 5/5 food and service

We were a table of 5, we got starters and mains. My own dishes were bad, and I tasted most of the other dishes and they weren’t great either. The potato’s in the masaman curry were uncooked. All of the curries had a ton of vegetables that don’t belong in that type of curry. Very strange. Not recommend Staff were super friendly though!!
