Johnny Franks - Tralee

We had lunch at this restaurant with our three young children. The staff were excellent and very friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Beautiful food with a hefty portion size. Lovely quite atmosphere, very comfortable and beautifully old styling.

We had dinner recently in this bar. The food was really good, and varied. We liked all of it, each of us took a main dish and a desert. Good selection of beers, no problem there either. The service was normal, but a star is lost here because the beers were put on the table a bit too abruptly and some of it spilled on the tray. Even though not much was lost, the glasses should have been refilled to the top in order to make sure we had the right level. The atmosphere is great, there is a set of bookshelves on the top floor surrounding us, giving the place a special atmosphere. We had also a lot of space, it was fine.

The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. The drinks were a bit pricy, but that is what we anticipated.
