Bidra med feedbackI had a wonderful meal and experience today. The waiter was very attentive and helpful with my food intolerances. I couldn't be happier. Thank you.
Please note that this review is not directed towards any specific staff members at this restaurant franchise, as they all appeared to be extremely busy and hardworking. However, I believe that Pizza Express as a company is solely focused on maximizing profits, rather than providing high-quality food and positive customer experiences. The tables are arranged so closely together that it can feel uncomfortable and cramped. Additionally, the prices of the menu items are excessively high. I have encountered difficulties using Tesco vouchers on multiple occasions. Due to feeling overcharged and frustrated on several occasions, I have decided not to patronize any Pizza Express restaurants in the future. Furthermore, it is important to note that if they claim you can use your remaining Tesco balance on your next visit, this is incorrect. Pizza Express keeps the difference, causing both the customer and Tesco to lose out.
The only Pro that this place had was that the food was very nice. A lot of cons , absolute appalling manners on the waitress who would not crack a smile , barely showed us to our table and decided to no exaduration throw the menus on the table while walking way ahead of us . Moments after this a couple with a young toddler asked for take away boxs beside where we were seated and she would not even take their plates for them to do it she just threw the boxs on the table for them to do it . Not once asked how anything was and not given any manors or felt any bit welcomed . Waiters chatting instead of serving people , felt like Christmas of 2024 had came by the time the requested bill had arrived . The card machine eventually came along after a century and I was told to click the buttons away myself and answer a million questions on it . Lazy and unprofessional . Would not recommend.
After an afternoon shopping Trafford Centre decided to have pizza for tea at Pizza express. Had enjoyed meals at branches at Bicester, York, Leeds Salford Keys in the last 18 months. Unfortunately Trafford Centre does not match up to other branches. The pizzas came very quickly but they need way, way more tomato sauce on, was like it been put on and then scraped off it was that thin, so the pizza was not as tasty as what we had before the toppings weren't over generous. Pizzas were not very hot on serving either and quickly went cold. Was only passable.
My recent visit to this restaurant was a reminder of why I haven't dined here in 15 years. The pizza was very average, with barely any cheese compared to a McDonald's burger wrapper. They don't cut the pizza for you, and the plates are not big enough to fit the width of the pizza, leading to cold slices by the time you cut them yourself. I spent £18 and an hour of my time, feeling like it was a waste. I won't be returning again.
