Bidra med feedbackA Saturday night in September no gin left. One and half hours for meal to arrive after ordering and then order not correct. Offered free desserts. Food was very good however. Wandered off to admire the river and have quiet few minutes to be...chased by a waiter shouting across as he ran to where I was standing had I paid ! Insult to injury. Will not be returning.
My boyfriend and I decided to visit Taberna Do Ze Da Lidia as we were staying in Almada in Lisbon and we're looking for somewhere nearby. After finding the restaurant on trip advisor we drove to the town and easily found the restaurant, it was...only 6:30pm so we popped in and he said we could come back at 7:30 as the kitchen would be ready then. Wow, it was certainly worth the wait! We arrived at Lidia and the owner brought over the menu which was entirely in Portuguese, not speaking a word he offered to help us and asked if we'd like fish or meat. After choosing meat be brought us a plate with all the raw cuts of steak that he had and we chose one to share, he brought us the steak along with chips rice bread and olives... It was absolutely delicious, we devoured the whole thing and even the chips were home made and fantastic. Along with this my boyfriend had a beer and both of us had a large glass of sparkling wine (which was to die for as well). You can chose your wine from the barrels on the wall. To finish we each had a slice of chocolate cake that was basically a hot brownie which vanilla ice cream. When the bill came we were astounded, all this food for a mere €24,50! The bread and olives we hadn't event been charged for different to every other restaurant we've eaten at in Portugal! I would highly recommend this beautiful restaurant, delicious food and warm and friendly host, fantastic atmosphere with a modest price tag! Worth a trip out of Lisbon for sure! Thank you Taberna Do Ze Da Lidia
I used to have 2 steaks in my memory. Now I can only remember this one. trafaria sauce . just a regular garlic and laurel sauce, but absolutely amazing.
Had a pleasure to pay a visit with my friends based on friend’s recommendation. We truly spent on of our most authentic dinners in our life accompanied with tasty local dishes. Bacallao is a must when at this place.
