Great old school izakaya with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, and you won't feel the hit in your wallet when you get the bill! English menu available.

The food was nothing extraordinary but there were some specialities from 20th century Japan which made it a unique experience. The staff wasn’t really helpful though

It was so noisy, and many people were smoking. I don't like that.

Hanbey has always been our go-to place to get cheap food and drinks. We used to go to Hanbey in Kanazawa so it was our first time to go to their Toyama branch. We went there to celebrate my friend's birthday and we had a fun time. The fried frog legs served with firecrackers was our favorite. Aside from the spectacles, the legs themselves were so good! Ladies, don't forget to get your free ice cream before leaving. As for gents, their Oppai ice is a must lol

Price is cheap, and taste is delicious !!!!! Also can smoke inside
