Butterfields - Town of Smithtown

Very nice atmosphere low lighting, very comfortable seating if your lucky enough to get the mini loveseat at your table, pretty pictures on wall, clean bathroom, nice upscale piano bar area long bar (but not too much space) ideal for early 30's and up a more sophisticated crowd. Great for a date. I met both the owners which went around to the tables and asked how everything was and chatted afterwards adding a nice personal touch. The food was delicious as good as a matter of fact going back again this Friday! The salad was very good with the goat cheese and crispy onions on top, I also tried the special appetizer of the night the panchetta ravioli which I couldn’t tell if they were pan seared because of the slightly hardened texture or what but none the less was very tasty served on top of the most awesome brocclirabe (don't think I spelt that right). Maine course I ordered Prime rib that was sooo tender and cooked to perfection with garlic mashed pototatoes, dessert was warm apple crisp pie with vanilla gelato very yummy in deed. The menu had a nice selection from pasta to chicken to seafood and steaks. Try Butterfields you will be glad you did just like I was.
