Peppinos - Town of Delaware

We got philly cheese steak subs from peppinos in callicoon ny on July 14th 2024 they were delicious I have never had a philly cheese steak until today and I'm so glad my husband talked me into getting one to try ..so so very good

Took my family there for my husbands birthday, only to go home and be by my husband's side for the next 11 hours with him keeled over the toilet puking. When you walk into the place, it's a glorified pizzeria, the server was great. The food on the other hand was not. I would definitely start interviewing new chefs and new recipes. We ordered bruschetta, the bruschetta had a thick slice of mozzarella (the packaged kind you buy at the supermarket that comes in a block)over the tomatoes, my daughter lost her tooth cap when she bit into it. The garlic bread with cheese had no garlic taste at all, it was just a loaf of bread that was cut in half and loaded with cheese. Kind of like the garlic bread you get at Pizza Hut but not as tasty. We ordered chicken francese, not sure how anyone at an Italian place can f that up, but that was tastless too. My parents dishes came with ziti and the other with spaghetti, the pasta was not cooked. Not even al dente. I myself ordered a sprite and thought I was being poisoned. I don't know what kind of chemical it tasted like but it wasn't soda of any sort. By the time the food came out, no one from our party of 8 really ate anything. We all asked for boxes to go. When we got home, I put all the food out for the wild animals to eat. After tonight not sure if those animals will be coming back either. We came to this place because we read the 4 star reviews. I guess the people who wrote those reviews were either drunk or paid off. Our first choice was Creek House two doors down but they weren't opening till 4pm and we wanted something earlier. Next time we will wait for them to open. They NEVER disappoint. They don't have a cook they have a chef. FYI this is the first review I've ever written in my life. I couldn't let what happened to my husband happen to someone else.

Waitstaff is good. Food is above average for the area. Owner’s policies though are rigid. They do not make accommodations for food allergies. Burger roll bottom HARD as a rock and when I requested a replacement, they charged $1.50. They nickel and dime on everything. It takes away from the experience. I will try something else when I’m in the area again. Would recommend with caution.

Always delicious! Service not so good tonight. Usually have no issues.Maybe a new waiter. Wheelchair accessibility: I'm temporarily on crutches. Had no issues. No steps to tackle.

Used to go to this place a decent amount of times but not sure if the place has changed ownership but the place has gone downhill. Asked for some Parmesan for my pizza and pasta that I ordered and the guy behind the counter flat out refused to give me some. He said we don’t have any at first and then when I persisted he said it would be a 5 dollar charge. I would have paid if he mentioned it at first but he lied initially and said they didn’t have any. The pizza was ehhh and the pasta was soggy when I got home. It’s a shame this place has gone downhill and the staff is just so rude. I would not recommend at all.
