The Trillium Lodge

My family and I dined on Saturday night 29th october, although we had good dinner in the past, our experience was less than acceptable. 1. the service was bad. The dinner was served only late in the meal when it was asked. Condiments were never brought or brought too late. server was not attentive in general refilling water, checking whether we needed anything. server spilled water on table and ended in my round and there was no compensation offered. 2. quality of food was bad. the chicken was overtaken/dry and hard. mushrooms were burned. I brought my mother here for the first time, hoping for a great experience and she was very disappointed. when we went, although I had left a tipp when we went from the server, there was no thanks or good bites. very disappointed about the whole experience after we drove there 1 hour.

Had reservations and were greeted and seated immediately. Waitress was over immediately and took drink orders. Other part of our group showed up and we ordered drinks and appetizers. Came out fast and fresh. Ordered the Trillium cut prime rib grilled and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend and look forward to coming back.

This is our second year coming here. I ordered prime rib which was spectacular! It took 3 meals to eat the entire prime rib because it was so big. The ambience is wonderful and our server was terrific. Thank you all...we'll see you next year when we return to NY.
