Bidra med feedbackWe spent a week here in a small cabin behind the store and it was lovely. We spent time on the water and just sitting, enjoying the place. Caroga Lake Music Festival just down the road, and great dining at Pleasant Lake Inn. Dorothy and all the staff have been so welcoming and friendly, we can't wait to return!
Great little place that always has what we are looking for when up to camp from souvenirs to beer and grocery not to forget all the boating/ camping supplies
Just a special place to stop with kids along a very rural section of route 10 between Pine Lake and Caroga Lake. 2nd generation, family owned Store. Fresh Produce, Gas. Lotto. Smokes. milk eggs bread and all the luxaries you might need camping, boating, riding or skiing. Marina. Gift Shoppe. I remember a Summer Post Office and and Internet Cafe but I am not sure what is in that side room anymore. I've been going up to West Stoner 40+ years and have very nostalgic memories of stopping here to get the essentials on the way up. I have strong memories of a giant Dill Pickle Barrel up front. I would beg my parents for whistle pops, Rock candy, charm pops, snaps and part poppers. Great memories. When my grandpa Carter died, (He bought a bunch of boats from Bill in the 70s and 80s) one of my cousins mentioned the idea of the grand kids wearing the trademark shirt. I have pictures going back 40 years wearing that shirt and will share them here as I find them. Unfortunately it was not possible but that is the type of feeling Canada Lake holds to the residents of Caroga and the summer folk. Check this place out.
Great spot. Great bakery. Nice place to get a bite
Cute little store and full of cool nicknacks!
