What a pleasure to come to lzpi' vert either to enjoy a coffee in the cozy armchair or to discover tasty aromas of coffee, tea and even herbal tea. The welcome is always very warm. The place is calming. THANKS !

We were in Tour during a record heat wave, and somehow all of those restaurants on the squares and streets of the old city looked too hot, too crowded, too too.... Even the places that advertised climatisation were unappealing. We walked all the way through to Rue National, and that looked too deserted, too empty, then we turned a corner and found Le Singe Vert. It was cool, occupied but not overflowing, and the menu had good options, includuing reasonably priced local wines. The interior is attractive, the service was attentive enough (not super speedy, but we weren't either), and the food was delicious.

The receptionist at our hotel recommended this restaurant and we enjoyed our meal very much. Simple French style food but good quality and the staff were excellent. There were some large parties in the night we went and the kitchen and staff coped extremely well.
