La P'tite Pause des Halles - Tours

Very friendly couple, cook with local, homemade and biological ingredients. the English menu is available. we ordered an salat and the daytimer. it was not expensive at all for the size of the plate we got. all very tasteful. after dinner we divided one dessert.; three small baked and one cappuccino and one pot tee. the ambiente is as if they eat in the living room of a person, very cozy and not so loud.

We really enjoyed our dinner. eating is vegetarian/flexitarian and much lighter and vegetable than typical French cuisine. we both had the “complete record” that was 19 € inclusive desert. the plate included some tapenade and hummus as an amuse bouche, a glass melon...balls, a chilled suppe (kartoffel and orange,) a hot main dish either vegetarian or meat grille with spicy rice and vegetables, a flare with spicy tomato sauce and a green salad with nuts and dried fruits. I had the vegetarian option and mean man the meat option and we both really enjoyed it. there was a lot to eat, but we both finished everything! we didn't need a whisper, but...! that was also delicious, a creamy lemon tart on a cookie basis, and a very light chocolate mousse. drinks were very good and cheap, €5 for the very nice handcrafted beer of my manne and € 4.50 for my equally beautiful glass rose. the lady who served us was very friendly, she did not speak English, but had an English version of the menu. the food came very fast. total we spent just over €50 including coffee for a really delicious and plentiful meal with great service. only to note that this is about 5 minutes to walk from the tourist medieval part of the city, near the covered market. it is not a trendy area, but the quality of food and services is more than balanced. we would recommend.

After some days of the French cuisine we had to have a simple and healthy evening meal: this is the place quieter and beautiful place, gentler and faster service and above all good and tasty eating. btw, generous portions and intelligent menu for the children, and very cheap prices. we felt a real passion for what they do: give this restaurant a try, they will not regret!

Les plats proposés ont toujours un version végétarienne possible, ce qui est très judicieux! Et la cuisine est délicieuse. Le personnel est accueillant et la décoration vraiment jolie.

Pour la 1ere fois nous avons poussé les portes d'un resto végétarien Tourangeau !Nous n'avons pas été déçus. .acceuil très chaleureux , une carte qui donne envie même si l'on n'est pas adepte de la cuisine végétarienne . Dans les differents choix possibilité de prendre un peu de charcuterie locale.Tout etait très bon et à un prix raisonnable. Je recommande cette table sans hésitation.Petite salle, reserver est plus sûr.
