Bidra med feedbackBeautiful and bucolic view close to the centre of Tours, north side of the Loire. Nice atmosphere. Simple, fresh and homemade cuisine: tartinables, homemade or dish of the day. The little table that dominates the Loire... we were too good. Nice crew that took over the place a few times ago. Attention we can't book, and not so easy to find them on Facebook. They're registered in Beach Tours. The beach of Tours is the page of the former owner. A little hard to find it but try the stopover you will not regret.
The place is heavenly, with a breathtaking view of the Wilson Bridge. After... start the bad surprises. The tables are dirty, never washed ( aren't we supposed to give a rag in this trade? The staff is unpleasant and clearly disturbed by customers. Well, on this account, go with your own drinks and picnic to enjoy the view and the Loire. It'll make them feet.
Prices are delusional to quality. Cleanness is doubtful and the reception is very unpleasant.
Very friendly place only open summer ; beachside, parasols, a few games, buvette and restaurant of the edges of the water a lot of space, tables, benches, chairs, relaxes. Here you don’t take your head, you order your meal, some simple but very good quality dishes, charcuterie, salads, a tray full of stuff at 10 € salad, rillettes, purée, cheese, rillons [specialty of hearty and good Touraine . at the call you are invited to come pick up your tray and you go to install where you like .... A breathtaking view of the cathedral in the distance, and on the arms of the Loire where the seagulls come to slaughter ....the foot !!!
Nice place aboard the Loire, with lots of space to rest, take a drink and/or eat. Accessible by bike. Entertainment for children and grandchildren (ping pong, petanque etc.) The meal we took was very good too, especially the hummingbirds.
