After arriving in area and taking a stroll we came upon this restaurant. We were taken out to the back onto a lovely terrace overlooking the valley. There was a set menu with prices for a variety of 1,2 or 3 courses, each course provides...a good choice and also vegetarian options. We had a first and main course, both absolutely delicious and very well presented. Unfortunately no room for a pudding! With an aperatif, wine and coffee/tea i had to check bill as thought something had been left off as it was an amazingly reasonable price. The ladies serving were very friendly and helpful and overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant, easily found on route tour-de-faure to st cirq.
Was just excellent after a long day of flying and driving. Warm, beautiful atmosphere. Excellent duck and lamb. A sked the staff to pick a wine for us, and was presented with a wonderful moderately priced local Cahors varietal. I understand the view is very...nice, but arrived after dark.
It was a brilliant day. The view was incomparable front eh terrace. The service was excellent and the food was great. I will go back for sure.
Staying in the area for 8 days and kept passing this restaurant so thought we 'd give it a go. Big mistake, couldn 't wait to get out of there quick enough. Had very limited drinks and food menu but picked a braun beer only to be...told they didn 't actually have any and blonde beers were a choice of one. Moved on to food, we asked for the Beef and the salmon, only to be told they have no beef either. As they only had 6 main courses and one other occupied table in the restaurant this was a bit disappointing to say the least. Although after a discernible 'ping ' of a microwave, my main course of salmon arrived and I was shocked to discover it turned up wrapped in tons of cellophane?! With 3 slices of tomato on top and cooked to death drowning in olive oil. Really unappealing. My husbands lamb chops were equally pale and bland and devoid of any flavour. All in all a total waste of time and money. Lots of nice restaurants in the area....this just doesn 't happen to be one of them.
