Seng Kuon - Toulouse

Very good Chinese restaurant with very pleasant staff

A reveil a little fade, a gray sun and I started the idea that I deserved a table in the restaurant. However, I wanted a comforting address, a place that I knew well, so I chose the Seng Kuon, one of my favorite addresses in the city, where I had not gone for a while, the opportunity to see if things had not moved. So, of course, I passed the door and found the warm atmosphere of this small family restaurant with a few dozen covers. Quick but waiting service. I took what I preferred, the chef's beef as if, cooking his specialty to the chef could please him and allow me to find heart in the dish, I don't think I had a wrong. Meat is good, rice too, what is expected of an Asian cuisine restaurant but I lean here on its cooking, well cooked, tender almost confite in this sweet sauce, a delight. I like to lose myself in the preparation of a meat looking around me, a simple decoration, but almost extravagant, I don't mind. Then come the dessert the Delight Coco , it must be what I prefer, while I have a clear preference for salt, finally that's what I thought. This kind of hot mochi, covered with caramel and seeds, I promise that it's a delight, I never found similar elsewhere. I was surprised to scrape the plate with my spoon in the picture of the good time I spent here. The check? Correct, especially in the form of menu. I'll be back.

I booked a table at Seng Kuon last Friday, on the occasion of my wife’s birthday. The reception is impeccable, the very smiling and pleasant waitress, the restaurant decoration when it is classic but effective. In the plates, it’s without fault! Applied dress, product quality, precision and perfect harmony of flavors. A taste of authentic flavor, probably the best Asian in the city! We recommend the soup of homemade shrimp ravioli (a murder! and the lacquered duck that is also completely crazy. We will undoubtedly have the opportunity to come back to discover and appreciate the rest of the card. Congratulations to the Chief and the team as a whole and thank you for this moment! It was just delicious. We found ourselves in this restaurant with my friend by chance, after a long and hard day. The staff were very welcoming and very kind. The service was fast and the generous portions. It was the first time I lived in France, that I eat Asian food that reminds me of my home. The only apartment would be the two girls in the side table who clearly do not know how to stand in public (openly insulting employees, the work provided etc. while everything was impeccable). Anyway, we loved and will be back soon!

Delicious restaurant. The second time. Small Asian restaurant, with a varied menu. Prices are extremely affordable (20€ the menu! . The kitchen is excellent, nothing to do with Asian chains at will where food is interchangeable between each restaurant. We feel the dishes are cooked at home. Caramel pork is delicious. The homemade soup is a pleasure. And stomach burns for the pleasure of coconut in dessert. Finally, the staff is extremely kind and it was a real pleasure to be able to chat with them at the end. I recommend without hesitation and we will return as soon as possible! Thank you for this meal!
