Brooklyn Bagels - Totowa

Place is dirty. Why do the employees wear gloves when they touch everything with both hands. I watched the employee that served me, grab cash coins with a gloved hand, hand me my change then go touch someone’s bagel with the same gloves hand. I saw another employee do the same thing and a 3rd touch half the store with her gloved hand. At no point did any employee change their glove. Food is average or just below.

One of the best bagel spots in the area. Used to come here a lot about 10-12 years ago. I recently moved back and I’m glad the food and service is just as consistent as it used to be. Grace is an angel. Always so friendly and efficient. Everyone knows her. I hope they are taking good care of her.

This place if horrible! I paid 4.25 for a burnt mini bagel, let that sink in 4.25 for a mini bagel everything is over priced in this place and they are 100% not the best bagels around. Stay far away from this place it’s a joke and you can tell all they care about is money, absolute joke.

Honestly. To Pay 19$ for a tuna on rye and a egg salad sandwich. There was basically nothing on it. Been a few times. I am actually more hungry at this point. At least make the sandwiches a little more beefy. They are like 1st grader sandwiches.

Brooklyn Bagels is honestly the best bagel shop in New Jersey!! Everytime I visit Totowa to see my grandparents, I have to stop at Brooklyn Bagels and get me my Taylor Ham? , egg ? , and cheese ? on an everything bagel. Don’t get me started on the french toast ? it’s to die for. Food is always made fresh??‍? and I can honestly taste the difference in quality. The shop is always so clean and I can probably eat off the floor if I had to. Aside from that I had the chance to speak ? with one of the owners, Vanessa, who took my order, and she gave me great recommendations ? that I can’t wait to try when I am next in the area. If you happen to be in the area or like great tasting food, go visit THIS Brooklyn Bagels in Totowa. You won’t regret it!!! ?
