I was disappointed with my last visit to this restaurant. The location and views are superb it being in the regional park. the lunch and service however was not the best , certainly not as good as when we visited previously. The calamari was cooked from frozen and the barbecued rabbit I was served was basically the head and ribs so little or no meat. The delay between courses was excessive so much that we skipped desert The place was very busy which may have contributed. I will revisit for a coffee or a snack but probably give lunch a miss for a while especially on a Sunday when very busy
Regrettably, the food did not match the menu or our expectations. They say that they specialise in 'game ' ie Partridge, Wild Boar etc. but none of the three dishes that we requested were available. We decided to have tapas, but the cod fried in batter was truly awful. When we told them, they said that it was because the cod was frozen! This place has so much potential, especially as it is on one of the main roads into the National Park, but every dish that we had was truly bad. Do yourself a favour and take a picnic instead. We had 2 glasses of wine 2€, salad 5€, barbecue rabbit (small portion! 10€, cod 3.20 € 2 small coffees 2.40 € making a total of 23.90 € not worth it. Also, they only take cash too, no Credit Cards!
Todo muy bien. Un sitio privilegiado que viste por sí mismo. Fui hace tiempo, pero ahora todo lo veo más orientado a una buena comida sin florituras carísimas
Bonito lugar para acabar una ruta de montaña por Las Alquerias. Comida correcta a un precio razonable. Fuensanta y su equipo ponen todo el interés posible en agradar, pero lo más adecuado es llegar con la sana intención de pasar un buen rato en un paraje espectacular. El arroz con leche y la leche frita son el mejor final posible.
