Berengario - Torri del benaco

Well located on the shore of the lake. Staff not as friendly as one could expect. Food is kind of average. Still a nice place to sit down and enjoy Garda.

My adventure in this restaurant lasted ten minutes due to a crazy waiter. I ordered a fish meal and couldn't eat it as i was treated.

Yesterday, after being on the lake all day, we started walking around the village looking for a good restaurant for dinner. I was wearing long cotton pants and a cotton top. We found this restaurant and knew we wanted to eat there. We waited about 5/6 minutes to sit down, 3 people (officials) gave us the table where we could sit and everything was going great. After we sat down, another official asked me if I had a T-shirt to wear, and I said no, and then he told the other official that I should wear a T-shirt, that I couldn't eat at the restaurant because I was dressed like that, I want to point out that BEFORE there was the table, there were 3 officials I talked to and none of these 3 people said I couldn't stay because I was a TOP. A super unpleasant and incredible situation, which left me super angry, how is it possible that before 3 officials didn't tell me anything? I was very angry about that and honestly, I am sorry that in a country like Italy they still have a big taboo on the body. I don't care if they told me that there is a law or that I know it, 3 people saw me before and talked to me and none of them said that because I was dressed it was a problem. It's about how badly we keep doing everything, and how in this place there has not been the necessary consistency of communication.

Me and my bite on a tour of the benaco towers, we met this restaurant in the historic center on the lakefront. we hit the great variety of menus and finally chose to have lunch right on the shore of Lake Garda. excellent bruschette as appetizer followed by two first well done and portion properly. great service, fast and precise. average price. recommended!

Eaten out, lovely place. kind staff, especially a boy, sin not knowing the name because I would like to thank him publicly! immediately made us feel at home, at every always kind, friendly and friendly request! the food is good but surely what makes the place memorable is the staff (excluding a woman sometimes rude and unscrupulous). beautiful towers and compliments for hospitality!
