Popped in for a Pizza takeaway after reading reviews got a ham and pineapple staff asked would you like a drink when you are waiting took that offer up pint freezing cold one of the best pints so for in benamedena pizza arrived about 20 minutes later and as expected perfect thin crust topping to die for as Arnie says I will be back thanks Latino perfect service perfect pizza.

My wife, two small children and I ended up here after not being at to get a table at Da Checco Paola, 3 doors down the road, and so weren’t expecting much from our experience. Our first impression was that it was a beautifully light and fresh feeling restaurant, if surprisingly empty. The menu is as you would expect from any decent Italian restaurant I had penne in a creamy mushroom sauce, my wife had tortellini carbonara, and my toddler a (very large) childten’s portion of Spaghetti Bolognese. Aside from my dish needing slightly more salt and pepper, the food was outstanding! The cover charge gets you some lovely homemade garlic and herb focaccia soaked in olive oil, and very probably a limoncello as digestif. We also had a very lovely (and very economically priced) bottle of Prosecco. The waiters and owner were charming, and the owner especially was a very big hit with both our children. We enjoyed our experience so much, we paid a return visit 4 days later, as we were told they served the best pizza in the area and, if anything, had an even better experience the second time around. I think Il Mascalzone Latino is probably suffering unfairly from living in the shadow of Da Checco Paolo (which does deserve all the plaudits it gets), but still gets 5 big stars from us. We loved it.

Real Italian food, close to the beach. Big portions, great quality and amazing customer service. I love vegetarian lasagne : High recommended!
