Quick, clean and friendly. Order, grab and set. Spam Musubi is a B (Ono Hawaiian is a little fresher and served ho). Potato Mac salad is great. Korean chicken pieces are good and well seasoned (married). $14 Lunch, plus $2.00 Tip
Hawaii farewell best. Place was clean, staff was friendly, and food was excellent. we went to lunch on Friday and it was pleasantly busy. Portion sizes for lunch plates were huge, we would have liked to pay half the price for half the food! Only on the bottom was the strong use of silo foam and plastic containers, also for diving customers. Would be a 5-star if they could supply paper or reusable plates to avoid so much waste production.
I would have given this place a star were it not for the service. The person who attended me was kind, patient, and quite helpful. There is not much for me to say about this place. I thought that the restaurant had little to any decor that helped it stand out. The food was not very good. My main dish, which was wrapped in a taro leaf, was too salty for my taste. The other sides that accompanied it were nothing to write home about and even the two drinks, which looked promising, were disappointingly normal. To make matters worse, my entire meal came close to $25 and this during lunch hours! Neither the taste nor the portions justified that price.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot to visit, especially after a day on the island. The only downside is that the service is not great in the early hours. Overall, it is better than King Hawaiian, except for the desserts.
