Country Touch Cafe - Torrance

Was looking for a good steak and eggs breakfast and the reviews for this restaurant were pretty good so I gave them a try. When I walked in I was told to sit wherever I wanted, and was given a menu. I ordered the steak and eggs with potato and biscuit and coffee.Now let's talk about the steak... The steak that I received had so much fat that got tired of looking for meat, potatoes were awful! How do you make something look good but taste bad? Eggs were ok. The star was the coffee! The coffee was very good. Oh, the biscuit jelly couldn't help make it taste better! Food is not good at all. Service is good. As I was sitting there an older man came in and it was his first time there as well. He left upset and he said this was horrible food. I must agree

I googled best biscuits and gravy south bay and this spot came up. Came at 1:30 on a Saturday. I got the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs. She got scrambled eggs, bacon, country potatoes. The food was delicious. We had great service. The coffee was very good and my cup was constantly topped off. Very charming and comfy interior. Can 't wait to come back again this weekend!

The food is always fresh and decent, but the service was disappointing. The staff had the audacity to roll their eyes at me and place the food and bill on the table at the same time.
