Routleys - Torquay

Enjoyable Meat pie .... long standing bakery since 1947.<br/ <br/ Closing time, not much left, so the humble $4.90 plain meat pie was the saving grace in this wet, cold, unusual Torquay day.<br/ <br/ Friendly and pleasant service too, thank you. JT-23/08/2017.

Came in today for lunch with a few others, and was greatly impressed. Lovely pies had by three of our party, and an excellent chicken and avocado focaccia by the fourth. <br/ <br/ Good prices, and a deal running for the rest of April for a 2-for-the-price-of-1 on their newly launched varieties. I highly recommend the butter chicken pie from this offering, and am actually thinking about going in for more tomorrow!

Popped in to grab some lunch today at the Gilbert st Torquay store. The girl behind the counter was lovely and friendly. Fast service. Reasonably priced. My husband had a sausage roll and I had the steak pepper pie both were extremely yummy. And we ended up buying a four pack of the jelly slices and caramel slices for afternoon tea and for our journey home tomorrow. They look very can't wait to try them.

Good selection of pies. Giving a four as they decided not to put out any tables for customer to sit on, which is hard on the elderly as the only option was an alley way that was cold and dark.

Lots of yummy pies, treats and fresh salad sandwiches and rolls. Heaps to choose from and the prices are pretty standard.
