Bidra med feedbackDecent place for pho. <br/ <br/ Pro<br/ seating environment comfortable. <br/ quick service food arrived fast.<br/ <br/ Con<br/ tea cups smell of strong detergent. I've always wondered if they properly rinse off their dishes and cutleries. <br/ <br/ General comments<br/ special pho is ok. <br/ pho noodle is oddly like Chinese rice noodle, very broad and thick. I happen to like rice noodle so I guess no complaints. <br/ deep fried spring rolls is ok. Nothing special. <br/ about $30 for 2.
As far as Asian restaurants go, this place has got to be one of the longest standing in the area. It doesn't have the best quality food or service. But for a quick and cheap dining option you can't really go wrong.
My family loves the Beef Satay Soup at Pho Xe Lua. It's always a perfect balance of savory and spicy.
Overall Pho Xe Lua is an excellent place for Pho and other Vietnamese food. I thoroughly enjoy it everytime we go.
I used to go to this place every time I went to TO. It was so sad to see how low this place went. Did not even imagine you could mess up food so badly. Fresh spring rolls came with brown watery tastless sauce insteqd of penut sauce. Soup came without any of the sides no mint, no bean sprouts, no lemon. Meat was wrong. Shrimp was rock dry and tastless. There are so many goos Vietnamese places just qround the corner. Avoid this overpriced monatrocety like the plague. It should have been obvious to me too when I saw the place totally empty.
