Bidra med feedbackThis is the first burger place I tried in Toronto and it made me feel like home. The ambience is industrial, which made me feel like I was back home in Windsor. All the staff was friendly and willing to strike up a conversation with anyone who wanted to have one.<br/ <br/ The food was fantastic! One bite into the burger was all I needed to be in food heaven. They have pretty good sauces to compliment the burgers and appetizers well. However, if I had to recommend one thing, it would be the milkshakes. There is a wide variety and they are a little expensive, but they are totally worth it.
I have visited multiple locations of this restaurant, including the ones in Danforth, London, and Kingston, and have always had a positive experience. The food is consistently delicious, the staff is friendly, and the service is efficient. While the prices may be a bit high, $15 for a large, homemade burger and fresh fries is reasonable. In comparison, a burger at a nearby restaurant is $17 and is not as good, with bland, frozen fries. Some may complain about the cost of quality food, but that just means more Works burgers for me.
I had a fantastic time at The Works restaurant last night with my friends. We enjoyed the Tower of Rings and Crispy Dills appetizers, which were delicious. I absolutely loved their beechouse sauce, it was mouth-watering. For my main course, I had the 3 Ring Binder Burger with Die Cut Chips and a Strawberry Banana Milkshake. The burger was amazing with sautéed mushrooms, chipotle mayo, gouda cheese, and crunchy o-rings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. It was awesome!
This is very clean, tidy, and well organized restaurant. I had a great experience with the staff; very helpful in explaining and giving suggestions/recommendations. In addition, the staff had exceptional customer service, she knew it was our first time at this restaurant and gave us extra dipping sauce on the house to try and experiment! The service was fast and they are always on top of serving water without being asked. Excellent quality of food and it is very unique for those who are willing to experience a whole new level of burgers! I would recommend the onion ring tower!
The first time we ate at WORKS, it was in Barhaven (Ottawa). We were enjoying our burgers when, all of a sudden a car came crashing through the front of the restaurant! Thankfully, no one was hurt; 'just stepped on the wrong pedal... ' I overheard the senior gentleman say when things calmed down. That being our first experience with the chain, I expected big things when they opened a location near home! Whenever we order food from WORKS, it 's been good. Not over the top good, just solid; nice flavours and well cooked meat. As I 've said in previous reviews, with so many burger joints opening open in #toronto, WORKS is in the middle of the pack. There are many options, most of them have funny names that make the experience that much more memorable (The Ring of Fire, 3-ring Binder, The Hipster to name just three). The sides are good too. Try the die cut chips.Reasonably priced too. Served in trays, and drinks come in mason jars and measuring cups. Cool! Go for a casual burger experience with no hangups. Also, go because it 's a Canadian start up!
