Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is a perfect place to visit! The food was amazing and I wish I could have stayed a few more days to try everything on the menu. It truly feels like authentic soul food. Thank you so much!
I was staying at the Chelsea Hotel for a conference and decided to venture out for a healthy vegan lunch. I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and found the prices to be reasonable (I paid around $15 for lunch and dessert). Keep in mind that the restaurant closes early (I believe around 6 o'clock).
My daughter is vegan, I'm not, but if vegan food tastes this good then I wouldn't have a problem going vegan all the time. the food and desserts are amazing and healthy. they can't go!
My partner and I were cold and hungry and we found this place not far from the Eaton Centre. We ordered a Burrito each for $10 and got a Soup on the side for $3.75. I had the Vietnamese Banh Mi Chay and my partner...than the West Indian Jerk Burrito. Both were excellent and huge. Service is relatively quick but for us it was a little rude, we arrived 30 minutes before closing and the staff kept reminding us to leave way before they closed the store. I know what its like to work past closing time but it was fairly annoying being rushed out the door. Everything we had was Vegan so i would highly recommend the food.
I have been making my way thru the Salad and Greens part of the menu at SUUP Health Bar each time I am downtown. Each time I am impressed with the tastes and the portion sizes. I look forward to moving thru the rest of...the menu. The staff are polite and efficient. It will be great when the construction outside the front doors of the restaurant wraps up so that the comfy well designed modern interior will be complemented by a pleasant view. The restaurant is easily accessible by subway travelers, is in a great location for Ryerson students and is well worth a bit of a stroll for U of T students. I was pleasantly surprised to find a safe bike route from the Ferry docks to SUUP too. However, you have to really know where SUUP is because even though the address is on Yonge Street, its entrance is recessed and not noticeable. Wish it was open on Sundays, but will have to enjoy Monday- Fridays. A real treat to find such an excellent vegan restaurant in the city.
