You like good food and don't eat here. it made me sick with all the salt! The price for the part I got was absurd! The building was okay, but the staff seemed very upset and bothered every time I... It was a terrible experience! Avoid. They did not ask me to prove vaccine, but I heard a young black couple are asked and said to go because they do not want to follow. I am white and I feel it was a racist act safe! How for real guys?

Magical experience!!! The food was extremely rich and overly salty! We were very let down. I would not suggest this restaurant. Wasted our money!

Chantecler is a quaint little restaurant located on Queen West near Dufferin. The atmosphere is cozy and informal, with a menu that encourages sharing. We loved the steak tartare, chopped chicken liver, duck, pork, mushrooms, and of course, the delicious fries. Each dish was delightful, but my favorite was the tartare. Although we were too full to try desserts, they looked enticing for next time. The cocktail selection is extensive and unique, the wine list is small but excellent, and there are also good beer options available. The servers were friendly and accommodating, making our dinner a very enjoyable experience.

The restaurant was just okay, but not very remarkable. I had a feeling that the tuna tartare might not be the best choice, but decided to try it anyway. It turned out to be diced raw tuna in olive oil with lemon mayo, and it was quite bland. The chicken was too heavily seasoned, and the fries were the same. Overall, I don't have much else to say about the meal as it was quite forgettable.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary and it was the perfect choice. The service, from start to finish was warm and professional. The cocktails were excellent. They even make their own tonic. We shared the scallops, mushroom dish, steak tartare, duck, and...fries. All were so delicious. The portions are generous and we were too full to order dessert. But the manager brought us over complimentary after dinner drinks and wished us happy anniversary...a very nice and appreciated touch.
