Playa Cabana Hacienda - Toronto

This once fun atmosphere taco restaurant is away mountain. food quality has been considered as a once favorite (LA truck tactical) have now been made with low quality and lack of taste. the “service” was very bad. our most important courses came before the appetizers and even before the chips and guacamole. there was no place on this little table for eating and felt like we were rushing, eating and going. very poor. we paid $200 for two people, avoid them.

Although the outdoor terrace at the back is perfect not all items on the menu are served at the back including drinks!! That threw us off. They only serve tacos in the back and no drinks in glass ware. We tried steak, shrimp and pork...tacos with the shrimp coming out on top. These were good tacos but not the best we've ever eaten. 90% of the crowd with 30 and under.

We ordered two appetizers (tuna ceviche and camarones) and one main (pulpo tacos) and 'guac salsa ' which was should be renamed to 'watery tasteless '. All appetizers and the main were served at the same time and hardly fit on the tiny table. The...main got cold by the time we consumed (not enjoyed) our appetizers. To be fare, tuna ceviche was ok while camarones had to be unwrapped from the soggy deep fried batter to become edible. My wife ordered a 9oz glass of white wine which when arrived looked more like half of what we ordered. When we complained to the waiter, he assured us that all drinks are strictly measured and he is absolutely certain that the glass contained 9oz. At the end of our dinner we stopped at the bar and asked barman to fill the same glass with 9oz of water which appeared to be a double volume of what 's been served and charged. That was a clear proof of CHEATING.

Eating is in order. but I had only taken from here and was the worst takeout I've ever had. eating was badly packed for a food with considerable fat, so the whole food was loaded with fat until the time was eaten. there was. no hot sauce with tacos. Does anyone eat their tacos anywhere without at least a mild hot soße? when I called to comment, 1) manager were apparently too busy to talk to a customer (he makes them useless) and, 2) they said you had to ask. that is not a cheap restaurant. eating is expensive and they couldn't ask if I wanted to eat hot? the cheaper restaurants I ordered at covid either simply sent the usual sauces or at least asked if they wanted it. incredibly unimpressed. I doubt they don't care.

Fantastic Mexican cuisine in toronto. this is the place when they want loud, funny, authentic Mexican dishes. the personal is on the spot and eating is always fabulous. it is small, but it is worth squeezing.
