Moldova Restaurant - Toronto

I visited this place on Saturday at 6pm. The place was empty, which really surprised me. At the same time I was hoping to get a welcoming service as it was not busy. Unfortunately, when I asked for the price list for wine. The waitress stated that “they don’t have it and they give the prices from the head”. I asked the manager to explain how it can happen. The manager was verbally aggressive, asked me to “calm down” and also asked “if I speak Russian!”Then she said that “NOW she understands”. Certainly, I refuse to get any spirits. I was upset, my mood was ruined and wanted to leave, but didn’t, as I was there not alone and didn’t want to ruin the evening. This experience was horrible by the waitress, who was unable to respond on the simple questions about food, and the rude manager. I don’t think, that these people should work with clients. I also don’t find professional to serve people without a price list, which I am going to report. I will never ever go back to this place and wouldn’t suggest anyone to go there.

My kids, my parents, and I went to Moldova 4 times already in the last year. The foods were so delicious; the servings were enormous; the atmosphere was perfect, and the served were so attentive. Strongly recommend this place!

Service great, food is great. Wish we knew our tip was already included on the bill so we didn’t pay it twice. Felt like an unpleasant ending to a great evening.

The best food you will ever eat, made fresh just like back home! Beautiful restaurant and very friendly staff! Moldova is the best!

Very good, mamaliga with pork fat excellent (except i didn't see pork fat on the menu as an option. Very good Pelemeni, chefs compliment.You guys are great, but you are missing 2 very important foods: Moldovan Plăcinta and Sweet desert Cuṣma lui Guguță from sower cherries.Very good Napoleon cake but it was frozen..Please add them, and we will come back again.
