Le Notre Bistro - Toronto

Had a nice experience! While it is amazing that the menu changes in the new year, I loved the French cuisine provided by the restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff was pleasant. Great rest for our anniversary!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. We arrived half an hour after the evening opening and were the only customers for about 45 minutes. Both waiters were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was excellent, far surpassing what we usually have at home (we enjoyed coq au vin, bouillabaisse, and escargot). The cocktails we tried (Le Notre Negroni and Moulin Rouge) were delicious. Dessert was worth every penny and portion sizes were just right. It was a pricey evening, but for a special occasion with such high quality food and service, it was definitely worth it.

I tried the Prix Fixe menu. It started with a simple salad followed by a tasty Coq-au-vin and concluded with a delectable flourless chocolate cake. I was very happy with the meal.

This small, cozy restaurant offers incredible French cuisine and outstanding wine. The bar seating is spacious and not cramped like many other places. We stumbled upon it last minute on OpenTable, but we will definitely be making a point to dine there again in the future.

Wonderful service and fantastic french cuisine, from classic dishes confit de canard to oysters. The duck tartare was delicious. Would highly recommend La Notre to anyone who appreciates a quality food and wine
