Bidra med feedbackThe food was delicious. It is the best Spanish food we had in Toronto, and my family has been to Spain several times. The staff was great. They offered to wash the plates of my toddlers in the kitchen to help with our cleaning. Parts were on the small side, but everyone was satisfied after dessert. It is a pricier restaurant, so this restaurant becomes a regular special restaurant unlike an everyday restaurant.
Waited about an hour for a very simple and inconspicuous paella. Very limited seafood on a super thin rice layer that was not very tasteful. I really did better at home! Was super disappointed with the service and the cost of meal. We spent $200 for 2 with wine. We were so excited about a beautiful night outside and loved the appearance and feeling of the place, but the meal was very mediocre. Would have been better to spend our money at The Keg (a little predictable, though not so resourceful or great ambience). And what restaurant does not serve coffee????!!! Would not recommend or return.
I've been trying this place for a year, so I finally walked to the east and pulled myself there. We had no reservation, but luckily we came at the right time because there was a table available. Very suggest a reservation in advance because this place is small and busy. I didn't find a place that makes Paella like me in Spain until I found this place. The flavors are authentic and simply amazing! I love the veggie paella was vegan so I could have it and the olives were also very delicious. The only price is up here. It is clearly a place you go and share with others. Would like to return
Okay, that was funny! The four of us chose to share a paella (for two) and as many tapas as we had space. They were all easy to share between four people. Everything was very delicious and the presentation was so appetizing. Will definitely be back! After that we stroll westward to Queen East, quite lively at a summer night!
The service and the ambience were great. The free hot bread with oil was delicious, but something too salty. The CROQUETAS and PULPO A LA GALLEGA (Octopus) were great! The deep fried steak with jamon was very interesting, but the paprika upstairs were too sweet for my pleasure. PIMIENTOS RELLENOS tasted good, but the peppers were too soft and the beef tonic was too tasty. There should have been some textile in that plate. Overall, the food was great, but something too overpriced or it would have been a 5-star experience.
