Bidra med feedbackWe have ordered takeout from Glory of India more than 10 times over the years and it has always been our favorite in the city. We mostly order vegan/vegetarian dishes like saag paneer, aloo gobi, tikka masala, mixed veg vindaloo, along with rice and garlic roti to soak up the delicious sauces. Based on other reviews, it seems like there may be some dishes to avoid on the menu. Stick to the ones mentioned and you will not be disappointed.
I ordered chat papdi and masala tea! Worse food ever! Tea had no sugar and chat papdi was frozen and I couldn’t find any papdi! It was just filled with potatoes!
Honestly....this is my favorite Indian food restaurant in all of downtown Toronto. That being said I've never actually ate inside of it but I've been ordering takeout from the place for years. What do I love? It's consistent. The portions are generous. The flavours are delicious. I like how you can get a plain roti included with orders of entrees so you can make your own roti at home effectively. I've never tried their meat dishes but their channa dish is my favorite. The potato curry is my 2nd favorite. Their pakoras are awesome too. Glory of India is my go-to place for takeout every 3 months I order a bunch of their stuff and I have a really tasty dinner and lots of leftovers for days after. If you do takeout order some rice and spare rotis and lots of pakoras (at 2.50 an order they are a bargain! .
The masala dosa and chicken biryani were far from what they should taste like. Very disappointing experience.
Roti was dry butter chicken trash. I normally wouldn't give bad ratings to places but these guys for sure ghost rate on uber eats very disappointed
