Daio Japanese Cuisine - Toronto

At first glance, the exterior of the restaurant may not seem like much, but the sushi was absolutely amazing. It was so fresh and packed with flavor that I couldn't resist going back for seconds. The booths had a cool, slightly Japanese tatami style vibe.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend it to anyone in Toronto looking for delicious sushi.

At first, I was hesitant to dine at the restaurant due to its emptiness at 8:30 on a Thursday night. However, I am glad that we decided to give it a try. The server was extremely friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. We ordered gyoza, teriyaki chicken, and tempura yam rolls, all of which were excellent. The atmosphere was cozy, and I will definitely be returning in the future.

Pleasantly surprised. My bf and I came across this small quiet restaurant two weeks ago.With the significant number of sushi places you can head to in Toronto, we did not have high hopes after noticing only a few other customers. However, we both were pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the sushi.I also love the quieter environment which I don't always get in Toronto.I will definitely be back if I'm in the area for some Salmon Chirashi

Not sure why I have avoided eating at this sushi place for so long. It's actually really good. Surprisingly good.
