Bidra med feedbackVery delicious dimmy sum! we are deff home sick and that has helped a lot! eating is authentic and delicious! we loved it!
Contrary to what some others have claimed, we were informed that the restaurant does not offer a discount for dining before 11 o'clock.
When looking for a place to enjoy dim sum in Toronto, the key question is where to go. Personally, I choose Kronprinzessin for its chic ambiance and traditional service. My wife and I dined there in December with some friends from university. We tried about 10 different dishes, all of which were delicious. My wife, who had recently been to Beijing and Shanghai, found the dim sum at Kronprinzessin to be authentic and of high quality. Our entire group had a great experience and we will definitely be returning. Aria, the daughter of a friend, has a special fondness for Dim Sum King.
The Peking duck at this restaurant is outstanding! What's also great is that there's no need to pre-order it. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is luxurious with lots of marble and gold, which you would expect from a place called Fine Eating. There are many Chinese dining options in Toronto, and this is definitely one of the best.
The best dim sum I've had in North America. They have chandeliers and faux gold fixtures all across the restaurant. Food wise food here is made to order and not the traditional karts. Definitely get the rice crepes, cuttle fish in curry sauce, shumai, har...gow, and grilled octopus. Not only are flavors on point the quantity is very generous. The dumplings were huge and packed with alot of meat. The silver ware is great because they have a lil chopstick holder and a small dip tray attached. The restaurants also gives you a discount if you dine before 11 AM. Overall this is a great place to come with your friends and family. The staff is really friendly and always willing to assist. You can tell the restaurant is run really well and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend this spot. Compared to Tim Ho Wan and Din Tai Fung this ranks at the top for me!
