Bidra med feedbackNight for dinner. Great food and good service my only complaint was the noise level not good. Will definitely come back to the future
I and a friend went to Casa di Giorgio about a month ago for lunch and both food and service was the absolute best 5 stars. Last night another friend and I stroll around the beach looking for a nice place to dinner on... a terrace and since she loves Italian I hit the same place as I had such a wonderful experience the last time. Upon arrival we were told that there were only available tables inside (Note that we did not have reservations and since we wanted to scoop a terrace, thanks to the host, began to go and he immediately said to run after us when you wait 10 -15 minutes we can have a place on the terrace for you. We thought that was a little weird, but we were thrilled that they would take us and say that we would wait. We finally sat and to my joy recognized our server from a month ago, which was amazing and flattered in the face of the traffic they must have, and we made our commands for appetizers and net at the same time. I had ordered the Auberginen remover and when he was served it was hardly warm and cold in the middle. When I was hungry, I ate half of it anyway and asked for a take-out box for the rest thinking I'll just heat it home. My friend ordered pasta as her first course and was very disappointed that the pasta tasted like Hartbox Pasta and not made home. The service was slow, but as it was a busy Saturday night, I can't blame them for it. Our main thing was finally served and while my was absolutely delicious (Veal in the lemon sauce it was served with only two tiny baby potatoes cut half to my shock. I pointed this out to my server that immediately brought me more potatoes, but I was surprised that I even had to ask how the meal, although not super high end price was also not on the cheap side and 2 baby potatoes is ridiculous. Both of our main were otherwise well prepared, served hot and were delicious. We asked for separate invoices and that's where it was really weird. We paid both cash and my friend asked for her change back (so she could leave a matching tip and the server brought her back the whole money with the exception of $10 missing and waited for her to pay her bill. My friend asked why he would return the whole amount instead of just what remained after paying the bill, and there was also $10 missing to whom he refused. She had to tell the money before him until he finally agreed to his mistake, but to leave my friend who felt extremely uncomfortable and destroyed. Since I also paid money, I told the server that I paid the bill and only wanted the change so that I could leave a suitable tip to avoid any confusion he seemed to understand. If there was my friend to write this review, I am sure that she would give it only a 1 star, as she was definitely not satisfied with the food or service, but as it is me, I gave a 3 star as if the service was not perfect there was a busy Saturday night, we have no reservations and the little thing that my friend had when paying her bill was just a gap thinking in communication and quickly rectified, but there is never a generous excuse My friend will never go back while I will give him another attempt, but definitely not order the eggplant or pasta!!!
On Valentine's Day, Descendant and other popular restaurants were fully booked, so we decided to order from Casa di Giorgio. Even though I have been living in the Beaches for 20 years, I only recently discovered what a hidden gem this place is. We ordered two pizzas and a pasta dish, and everything was not only delicious but also well-presented. We are excited to visit in person in the future.
My family recently had a gathering before Christmas at Casa di Giorgio and we had a great experience. During these uncertain times in our city, we ordered a large amount of pasta and meatballs to enjoy for a few days, and once again, the food was delicious. Just look at it!
Took our friends here for dinner just before Christmas. Service was great and the food was awesome. The calamari comes grilled or fried. We chose fried that evening and it was hot and delicious. We ordered the Risotto, seafood pasta, pasta special of the day...and the lasagna. All were large portions, hot and flavourful. The wine list is small but well sorted and not outrageously priced. The owner,Ted is accommodating and his senior wait staff, helpful and aiming to please. This is a small restaurant that has a large seasonal patio. They have a small parking lot and there is street parking on Queen. Highly recommended!
